All My Yesterdays

Among the photographs, lineage charts, and photocopied documents, the ancestry journals of Nellie Mae Owings Chaney also include her personal recollections, and those of her siblings, concerning their lives, and memories of their ancestors. It was important to her to share these memories, so that future descendants can know their ancestors as well rounded people, with depth of personality, and not just dates on legal documents. She wanted her own story to be told as well. Perhaps future generations will contribute to this list.

Nellie also shared information on the lineage and the lives of her husbands, as well as her thoughts and feelings about them and their families.
